4. Operations

This is when you get operations right. You’ve got validation of your idea and you’ve got customers who can help you refine it, but what do you do with it?

During this stage, you’re focused on scaling up your operations. You’ve now got customers who can help you validate your idea and you’ve got operations in place to take your idea from a prototype to a full business. Now you can move from an idea to a real business.

5. Launch

And finally, this is when you launch your product. This is when you take your product from the development, operations, and scaling up of the business models that you have in place.

During this stage, you’re all about marketing and getting the word out. You’ve got customers who can help you validate your idea and you’ve got operations in place, but now you’ve got to get the product into the hands of as many people as possible and get them to try it out.

There’s a lot to think about and a lot that can go wrong, but if you want to build a successful business, you’re going to have to go through these four stages.

It might feel overwhelming, but if you keep your eyes on the prize, you’re going to be just fine.
